Black

I love maxi-skirts, or maxi-dresses, or anything maxi. That kind of stuff is just my best friend. My mom gave me that skirt for no reason and I really like it. This is one of the only two black things I have in my closet. If you  must know... when I was in middle school I used to wear ONLY black. So, in high school I decided to get rid of all my black stuff to have a fresh start. I'm kinda letting go of the past though.. I've always had a thing for black and yellow... and besides, Black is always a basic. Anyway, tomorrow I'm picking up Michelle from school, so I should probably go to sleep hahaha. I can never wake up early, even when I go to sleep like at 8pm, I always end up waking at 11am... I hate me. I'm such a lazy ass...BLAH,BLAH,BLAH. Tomorrow is gonna be so fun, yay!

Our Noisy, Smelly, and Lovely Van ♥

Hello everybody! well, we are having a pretty good spring break. Yesterday we went for a walk around Oak Park, and it was really beautiful. We entered a little cupcake shop called Bleeding Heart. We tasted almost everything they sell, from a gigantic oreo to a cupcake ball. We find out that we both don't enjoy peanut butter that much. I personally fell in love with the red velvet cupcake. After that, we walked around a little more, and before leaving we decided to enter one last shop. In fact, that last shop was the best part of all the exploring. Ten Thousand Villages is a little shop full of handmade products from all over the world. It is one of the best shops we've been too. We bought some beautiful handmade rings, a headband, and lots of chocolate. You can find anything in that store. Anyway... we wanted to take these pictures with our lovely van. It may not be the fanciest or coolest transportation, but we love it.

Procrastinating

The weather in Chicago is AMAZING!. We can go outside everyday  without thinking about the coldness and our jackets. We are so happy. Summer feels so close. The people is freaking out about how warm it is. Michelle and I just focus on enjoy it. We had a great time taking these pictures, we just laughed and did stupid stuff. I saw Michelle until 8pm and we pretty much took the pictures and went to sleep. I've been having pretty chill days at school, not much homework or stress, so my life is perfect right now. As for Michelle, she is always stressed and with tons of homework. That is why every time she gets home we only talk for a while and then she is too tired for being awake. Such a busy life that girl has. With me, is all about free time... and procrastinating.

Be Fresh.

Michelle and I have been enjoying this weather so much. We decided to take bus and go shopping, not for clothes though. We went to Michael's for painting stuff. Michelle got drawing notebooks and some watercolors. She is planning to start her portfolio in case she decides to be a Fashion designer. We saw a lot of  interesting things at Michael's and got pretty inspired. I love drawing, but I'm not very dedicate to stuff. So, most of the time I give up on finishing things. However, I've been seeing Michelle and how she is very excited with drawing fashion sketches, and  I am a little inspired too. I don't think fashion sketches are my thing though. Since the weather is truly beautiful and the trees are finally starting to look like trees, I was thinking that maybe I could start painting some landscapes. Hopefully, Michelle and I will finish some drawings/paintings and well get to show them here. About what we were wearing that day... My dress is brand new and it is really comfortable. I love how the fabric and the nude effect that it has makes it look so fresh, even for a black dress. Michelle never used to like her bermuda shorts because she didn't use to fit them. This year she could wear them and she says that they are super comfortable. She loves the length and how the are kind of loose around the thighs. "Plus they make my butt look awesome," Michelle said. The truth is that they do.

Here Comes The Sun

These pictures are from last Friday. Michelle had a party and asked me to do her make up. She looked so pretty and excited. I waited for her to see how she did, and she had an awesome night. I found the shirt she was wearing at Delias, and I fell in love with it because of the color and a cool design it has in the back. Guess what?! we totally forgot to take a picture of the back, but we will show it later. It was a truly nice weather, not to hot not to cold. Walking on the streets of Chicago is a refreshing experience after waiting for months for the warmth of the sun. The shirt I wore was brand new, and I was super excited that day. We couldn't wear any jewelry though, because of the fabric of the shirts. The nice thing about these two outfits is that they don't need a lot of thinking or stuff to give it a little drama, because the fabric of the shirts is dramatic by itself. My shoes are the most comfortable thing I have in my closet. They are not heavy at all and they look good with everything. Michelle's pointy shoes are really comfortable too and they gave a classy look to her outfit. I wish we were the same size so we could share, sadly we are not.

We Need Summer.

 Today was pretty chill. I didn't go to school so I kinda cleaned my room. I know it is going to be a mess again tomorrow morning anyway. I was anxious to see what Michelle was wearing, and guess what?! she went simple today too!. I stayed home and cooked, watched tv, did homework. I'm guessing Michelle went to school and did nothing again. I love how her hair looked today though, so simple. When I come out of the shower I have to put leave-in conditioner on my hair, so it won´t look so messy. But Michelle, she just uses a hair dryer to dry her hair and she is done. I love her hair so much. Anyway, the weather is looking better every day, warmer and warmer. We can´t wait for summer, we want to go to the lake not wearing a jacket or freezing to death. We are always complaining about how long it took us to choose our outfits and that we don´t get to show them because of our jackets. However, lately we´ve just been wearing sweaters and it´s awesome!
